Soaring, anthemic melodies and genuine passion are evident in every song from The CO, defining their standout style. Lead singer Collin Brace has the unique ability to make a story come alive when he performs, exemplifying the heart and soul behind The CO’s hope-inspiring lyrics. Brace’s powerful vocals are complemented by intricate harmonies and compelling keys from Troy Akers, further identifying The CO’s unique sound. Add drummer Nate Fleming’s tight rhythm and skillful technique, and The CO’s appeal is undeniable. Audiences can relate to The CO’s honest lyrics, which reflect the trials and triumphs of life common to nearly everyone.

Formed in 2005 by Brace, of Mexico, Mo., and Akers, of Nashville, Tenn., The CO was joined by Fleming, of Evansville, Ind., in 2007 and released their full-length, self-titled album in January 2010. Standout track “Keep It Together” featuring singer/songwriter Tyler Ward was released Oct. 31, 2011 and reached no. 1 on Germany’s singer/songwriter charts.

Since the debut of their self-titled album, The CO released the singles “Heartbeat” and “Heartbeat (Featuring Tyler Ward)” Jan. 1, 2011, further solidifying their style and enhancing their fan base. The CO also released “Be OK (United for Joplin)” May 24, 2011, from which all proceeds were donated to relief efforts in Joplin, Mo. after the city was struck by a devastating tornado.

The CO is currently finishing up work on their second album with production team Sorted Noise. Their music has been used in numerous TV and film placements. Most recently their song “Heartbeat” was used in ABC Family's "Jane By Design." The CO’s newest single and video, “Just Can't,” was released in January of 2012.

The CO has performed shows all around the country. The first show that the band ever played together was in front of 50,000 people and with the way The CO is progressing right now, that won’t be their last show playing to an audience of that size.
